has been raising cattle in San Augustine County since Colonel Stephen W. Blount, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence, settled here in 1835.  Blount Farms takes pride in running a high quality Brangus influenced commercial cow/calf operation, and in the past decade we have put together an elite group of Registered Simmental influenced cows.  Our goal is to produce quality Simmental, Simbrah, and SimAngus cattle that perform in the pasture and in the show ring.
